You are Invited to Luvurlōk Beauty Bar’s Peel Party

So, it’s the fall season and now is the time when you are probably going to see a lot of posts about chemical peels (if you haven’t already).  Why do you usually see chemical peel posts in the fall?  That’s because the sun is out much less and the UV levels are lower, which makes your skin much easier to recover from the peel and it’s before the harsh winter weather where your skin can become too dry or compromised for a peel.

So let’s chat chemical peels and how they can help…

A chemical peel is where a chemical solution is applied to your skin to remove layers of skin.  There are three types of peels:

  • light (superficial): this peel removes the outer layer of the skin.  This peel can be done more often depending on your treatment plan and can target things like fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness.

  • Medium: this peel removes the outer layer and portions of the middle layer of your skin.  This peel can be monthly depending on your treatment plan and can target things like wrinkles, acne scars and uneven skin tone.

  • Deep: this peel removes the skin cells deeper than your outer and middle layer of your skin.  This peel is only be done by a dermatologist.

There are many peels on the market.  The type of peel used will depend on your skincare specialist and the products he/she uses.  Be sure to go in for a consultation and don’t be afraid to ask questions to see if a chemical peel is right for you.

If you are interested in a chemical peel and want to know more, I am hosting a Peel Party on October 22 and 29.  This will include your chemical peel, a goodie bag and 20% off on all products (on October 22th or 29th ONLY).  Tickets MUST be purchased in advanced and by no later than October 15, 2023.  There are only 5 spots per day.
